They say talk is cheap. Google thinks it should be free. The new messenger brought to you by Google enables any user to call or send instant messages to friends anywhere in the world for free–anytime.

Here are some key features of “Google Talk”:

Voicemail If your friends aren’t around to answer your call, you can leave them a voicemail message instead.
